This may seem like a strange dog bed and that’s because it’s not a dog bed at all.
In the wooferderg home, before the days of Duke, we had a beloved beagle named Cody. In his last days he had a very hard time getting on and off the furniture, even with stairs. To help him remain comfortable, and maintain access to a soft bed without help, I altered a baby crib. That crib has turned out to be the most useful dog bed I’ve ever tried.
Rain loves her brothers but that doesn’t stop her from being completely disgusted by their juvenile behavior! Here she is watching them wrestle from her perch on the couch. She demands lovies from mom for having to put up with such silly boys in the house.
If you look closely at the picture you can see a major point of contention in the wooferderg home. Right under the reigning wooferderg. It’s a heating pad and for a solid week now every time I get up I return to find one of the boys sitting on it. Until today.
Rain has discovered the heating pad.
